Situated on the banks of the Shipra River, it is home to the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Known for its ancient temples, spiritual heritage, and the grand Kumbh Mela, Ujjain offers a deeply divine and culturally rich experience for devotees and travelers alike.
Arrival at Ujjain by flight. Upon arrival you will be met & greet, then transfer to your hotel for check-in.
After freshening up, begin your spiritual tour:
Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple – Visit the most revered temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
Har Siddhi Mata Temple – One of the 51 Shakti Peethas, known for its deep religious significance.
Chintaman Ganesh Temple – An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
Evening:
Attend the evening aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Temple or Ram Ghat on the Shipra River.
Explore nearby markets for spiritual souvenirs, rudraksha malas, and local sweets.
Overnight stay in Ujjain.
Early morning (optional): Attend the divine Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple (requires early registration).
After breakfast, proceed for more sightseeing:
Kal Bhairav Temple – A unique temple where liquor is offered to the deity.
Sandipani Ashram – Where Lord Krishna is believed to have studied.
Ram Janardhan Temple – Known for its beautiful sculptures and serene setting.
Ved Shala (Observatory) – Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, showcasing ancient astronomical instruments.
Afternoon:
Visit Mangalnath Temple, considered the birthplace of Mars (Mangal Grah) according to astrology.
Enjoy a serene walk or boat ride at Ram Ghat during sunset.
Overnight stay in Ujjain.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfered to Airport for your onward journey with divine memories.
